bubbleOut is a local social app. You discover Events around you, join Clubs built around your passions, and talk with members in the group Chat before meeting up in real life. No swiping, no feed: just outings and local communities.

No. bubbleOut is not a dating app. You meet people through what you love doing: sports, music, food, cultural outings... The goal: living moments together, not finding a soulmate.

Yes, the app is free to download and use. A Premium subscription and paid options are available to unlock advanced features.

bubbleOut is available on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play).

An Event is an outing proposed by a user: brunch, sport, a night out, an exhibition, a hike... You choose the theme, the place, the date and the capacity. It can be public (visible in Explore) or private (invite only).

Find the Event through Explore or the interactive map, then send a request to join. The organizer accepts or declines. Once you're in, you join the Event's group Chat to talk before the outing.

In under a minute. You choose the theme, the place, the date, the capacity and the visibility (public or private). Requests to join arrive straight in the app. You accept or decline whoever you want.

Yes. You set a maximum capacity when you create it. If it fills up, you can raise it anytime from the Event settings.

A Club is a local community built around a passion: running, board games, techno, foodies, film... Members meet up regularly through the Club's Events. That's the difference with a one-off Event: a Club lives on over time.

Find it in Explore or through a shared link, then send a request to join. The Club admin approves or declines your request.

You add a name, a theme, a cover photo and a location. Then you choose whether the Club is public (visible in Explore) or private (invite link only). You're automatically the admin and you manage join requests.

Talks are internal micro-polls. Members propose outing ideas, everyone votes, and the plans that rise to the top become Events. The group decides what it does.

The Explore tab shows Events and Clubs within 100 km around you. Results take your filters into account: date, theme, members' age, gender, lifestyle, values, personality traits. No opaque algorithm: you see exactly why a Club or an Event is suggested to you.

Yes. Advanced filters let you sort by date and theme, but also by member profile (age, gender, lifestyle, values, personality traits). You refine until you find exactly what fits you.

Yes. The interactive map shows you the Events happening near you in real time. You can move around freely and see at a glance what's going on in your neighbourhood or in another area.

Every Event has its own group Chat, available as soon as you're in. You can share messages, photos, voice notes and GIFs with everyone, before, during and after the outing.

Yes. Outside the group chats, you can send a private message to any bubbleOut member.

bubbleOut requires mandatory profile verification for every account. No unverified profile can use the app's interactive features (joining an Event, a Club, sending a message...). This step makes sure you're interacting with real people.

No. bubbleOut uses your location to show you the Events and Clubs around you, but your exact location is never shared with other members.

bubbleOut is available in Montréal and Paris. More cities are coming soon.

The app works everywhere, but the community is concentrated in Montréal and Paris for now. If you want to bring bubbleOut to your city, reach out: we're looking for local ambassadors.
